DUSTSTORM / RAIN-THUNDERSTORM PREDICTED IN UPPER / CENTRAL PARTS FROM 13TH TO 16TH JUNE WITH OCCASIONAL GAPS. SEVERE HEATWAVE CONDITIONS ARE LIKELY TO SIBSIDE DURING THE PERIOD

Met office (vide letter no. NWFC-5(10A)/2017/120) has informed that moist currents are penetrating in upper parts
of the country and a westerly wave is also likely to approach upper parts on 13th June. Under the influence of this weather
system:
-> Duststorm/Rain-thundershower (with Isolated Hailstorm) are expected in Murree and Galliyat from 13th to 16th
June with occasional gaps.
-> Duststorm/Rain-thundershower (with Isolated Hailstorm) is also excepted in Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal,
Jhelum, Mianwali, Sargodha, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Faisalabad,
Jhang and Toba Tek Singh, on 13th to 16th June with occasional gaps.
-> Duststorm/thunder-rain is also expected in all the districts of southern Punjab during the period.
