Met office (vide letter no. NWFC-5(10A)/2017/101) has informed that a westerly wave is likely to approach western parts of the country on 18th January. Under the influence of this weather system:
-> Moderate rain-windstorm (snowfall over hills) is expected in Murree and Galliyat from 18th to 21st January with occasional gaps.
-> Light rain-windstorm is expected in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jehlum and Chakwal on 18th (evening/night) & 19th January with occasional gaps.
