Director General PDMA Punjab, Umar Abbas Mela, visited the PDMA Jallo Warehouse to review emergency preparedness. During the visit, he inspected the relief inventory, emergency supplies, and warehouse records, and assessed the operational readiness of stored equipment and resources. He directed officials to ensure that relief items remain readily available for any emergency and emphasized a prompt response to all emergency situations. He stated that, under the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the capacity of relevant departments is being strengthened and all concerned departments must remain on alert. Citizens were also advised to contact the PDMA Helpline 1129 in case of any emergency.
